What is Aftershock?

Aftershock is a utility that creates the HTML code with the needed parameters for Flash to playback using the regular plugin or ActiveX control. It also provides the HTML code to display alternate content in the form of FlashJava (Flash Player Java Edition) or as a GIF file and whether to allow the installation of the plugin or ActiveX control. Aftershock is not FlashJava but they can be used together to put Flash on an HTML page as a Java applet. Aftershock and FlashJava are packaged together and are complementary products but are not the same.
